We require a 50% deposit to confirm a limousine or town car reservation. The deposit is refundable if you cancel your reservation 30 days or more prior to your pick up date less a $25.00 processing fee. If the reservation is canceled with less than 30 days prior to the pickup date the deposit is non-refundable. The 50% deposit turns into a store credit that may be applied to a future reservation for up to 12 months from the original pickup date. Certain exceptions may apply. Deposits may be paid by debit/credit card over the phone, check or cash. If you want to pay your deposit in cash please contact our office to make an appointment.
Payment for Limo Service
Payment for limo service can be made by credit/debit card, check, or cash. All limousine and town car reservations must be paid 10 days prior to the date of your trip. For reservation extensions Our chauffeurs will accept cash only, unless you have credit card information on file with our office and you authorize the additional charges. Debit/credit card payments are due 10 days prior to the date of your reservation unless other arrangements have been made with our office.
A confirmation of your limousine or Town car service reservation will be e-mailed to you showing the dates reserved, times, pickup instructions and amount due. Please verify the confirmation and notify us of any changes and/or corrections. If you don’t have e-mail we will contact you by phone to confirm the reservation.
We add a 20% services charge (for sanitizing each limousine after uses, gratuity for the chauffeur when you make your reservation excluding airport transportation, no gratuity is added). Passengers who wish to give a gratuity for airport transportation may tip their chauffeur in cash. If your limo or Town car reservation is paid in full including services charges, no further gratuity is necessary. If you feel your driver has done an exceptional job and want to offer him an extra gratuity, he will be happy to accept it, but you are not obligated to further tip him. The driver will make sure you understand that the gratuity has already been collected before accepting any additional gratuity.
What Comes with the limousine or town car?
All of our limousines reservations include a professional chauffeur, fuel, glassware, napkins, ice, soft drinks and mineral water as part of your limousine rental. A cleaning fee is included in the 20% service charge.
Alcohol and Smoking
Adults over the age of 21 are allowed to drink alcoholic beverages in the passenger areas of our limousines and town Car. We do not allow anyone under the age of 21 to consume alcoholic beverages in our limousines or town car. You and your guest are welcome to bring alcoholic beverages to be placed in the limousine. If you wish to stop to purchase alcoholic beverages please inform the chauffeur and he will accommodate your request.
All Limos and town cars are Non Smoking
All of our vehicles are nonsmoking vehicles and this is strictly enforced. Our drivers will be happy to stop whenever you want to allow passengers outside for a smoke break, but absolutely no smoking is allowed in the limousines or town car. If passengers smoke in the limousine or town car, we will charge $100.00 minimum (for detailed cleaning) and end the reservation. Please be considerate and don’t smoke in the limousines.
Vehicle and property damage
All damage caused by the client or there guest to vehicles or other property rented to the client by Starlight Limousine will be held responsible for replacement or repair of the property that was damaged.
Vomiting in the Limousine
There is a $250.00 minimum charge for vomiting (or other bodily fluids) in the limousine and $100 if the contact area is limited to the exterior of the limousine. This is necessary due to the costly cleaning, and the time the car cannot be used. The job will immediately end and client is responsible for the full amount of booked job. When someone is sick, the client must inform the driver immediately. The driver will stop as soon as safety allows so the sick passenger can exit the limousine.
Start and End Time
Your limousine or Town car time begins when we arrive to pick you up, and ends when we drop you off at your final destination. If you live outside the Salem area, we have longer minimums for limousine or town car reservations for pickup locations outside of the Salem area. For areas more than 25 miles from Salem travel time may apply. Check with our office regarding travel times and charges.
Starlight limousine is not responsible for road hazards, traffic delays, weather delays or unforeseen mechanical problems. To quality for a refund the tour group must abandon the vehicle and service prior to completing the reserved time.
If the tour group consumes the full amount of time reserved for that tour no refund will be due to the tour group.
